The built-in voice host welcomes your players, explains the rules and introduces the optional Snowball. Song titles and artists are announced at 30 seconds and at the end of each clip, with themed commentary between songs. Automatic next-song playback keeps the game moving; pause or take control whenever you need.
Your phone. Your tickets.
Players scan your QR code or open host.madnessmusicbingo.com/play and enter the six-digit room code. Choose 1 or 2 tickets; both appear together on the same screen. Pick a coloured dabber and tap song titles as you hear them. Music plays through the venue speakers.
Digital tickets follow on from your printed ticket numbers and appear in the host’s list. Confirm payment against each ticket number. Run entirely on phones with 0 printed tickets, or mix phone and paper tickets. Players join before the first song.
Soundtracks for every crowd.
24 themed categories, from Elvis, Reggae, Motown and Country to Rock Anthems, decades, movie musicals, sing-along favourites and pop divas. Each full category includes 60 songs. Your game uses clips, so the crowd listens, recognises and dabs.
Paper or phone. Same game.
Full tickets contain 15 song titles. First play for a line of five ACROSS, then a full house. Marking is manual. Players call BINGO or use their digital claim button; the host checks the numbered ticket against songs called and awards the prize.
The five-song public sample is a short taste of the game. It does not create an account or start a trial.

HOST INSTRUCTIONS
From setup to BINGO!
Set up your hosting device
Sign in, connect your speaker and set a comfortable volume before players arrive. Keep this host screen private: it shows song titles and ticket progress. Leave Keep screen awake while hosting ticked and keep the host tab open and visible.
Keep your device powered for a long event. If the screen locks or the browser blocks audio, return to the saved game and follow the pause/resume steps below.
Choose the category
Open Pick your soundtrack and choose the music for this game. Check the category name. Each category has its own saved pack and progress; switching categories pauses playback.
If you are continuing an existing game, recover that saved game instead of creating new tickets. For a fresh game, continue with the steps below.
Choose printed, digital or mixed tickets
Open Bingo cards. In Number of tickets, enter the number of printed tickets you need. If using digital tickets too, enable them in the digital-ticket step below; their numbers follow the printed tickets automatically. New packs default to 0 printed tickets; full access supports 0–500 printed tickets. For a phone-only game, leave this at 0 and enable digital tickets below.
Printed only: enter the paper-ticket quantity and leave digital tickets off. Digital only: leave the printed quantity at 0, then enable digital tickets below. Mixed: enter the printed quantity first, then enable digital tickets. Count both types together against the game limit.
Count tickets, not players: someone using two cards needs two tickets. Add or check your host logo before printing. The left corner uses your uploaded logo, or the Music Bingo icon by default; the Powered by Zaptide logo stays on the right. Follow the logo upload and save steps below.
Prepare one fresh pack
For a fresh game, press Generate [your number] new tickets and confirm. For a phone-only game, choose 0 printed tickets. An empty printed selection is valid; enabling digital tickets reserves the phone tickets in this same pack. Check the ticket total and card pack reference. Changing the quantity alone does not replace a pack.
The header’s New game button performs the same reset—you only need one of these actions. Every issued ticket must belong to this pack. Do not mix in tickets from an earlier game.
Choose prizes and optional Snowball
Tell players what the line and full-house prizes are. If using Snowball, enable it now, set the song limit and check the jackpot. Do this before the first draw. A new game starts with Snowball off.
Snowball is an optional full-house jackpot within the selected number of called songs. Skipped songs do not count. Manage contributions and record any payout through the Snowball controls. Read the full Snowball guide below.
Print paper tickets, if using them
Skip this step for a phone-only game. With 0 printed tickets there is no PDF to print. For paper tickets, choose Large · 3 per A4 sheet for the usual layout, then Create PDF / Print. Use A4 portrait. Check the PDF’s category, ticket total and pack reference before handing it out.
On an iPhone, use Share PDF / Print to print or save to Files. Give each player their ticket and a pen. Keep leftover tickets aside.
Set up digital tickets and admit players
Return to Host a game and tick Enable digital tickets before drawing the first song. There is no digital quantity to enter. Each joining player chooses one or two tickets; numbers continue automatically after the last printed ticket. For a phone-only game, leave the printed quantity at 0; the first digital tickets will be 1 and 2. The remaining ticket allowance is available automatically to phone players. Your printed quantity plus issued digital tickets must stay within the game limit: 500 with full access.
Keep the same pack. Enabling digital tickets makes the following numbers available without changing any printed cards. Example: 10 printed tickets are numbered 1–10. The first player choosing two digital tickets receives 11 and 12; the next player receives 13. Do not print and sell the reserved digital numbers as extra paper tickets.
Players open host.madnessmusicbingo.com/play on their phones and enter your six-digit room code and their name. Alternatively, display the QR code for them to scan; it opens the correct game. No host login is needed. Each player chooses one or two tickets when joining.
The host list shows the player name and each allocated ticket number. Collect payment using your normal method, check the number, then tick its Paid checkbox. Tick each ticket when payment is collected. Paid tickets leave the outstanding checklist and move into the separate Paid tickets section. A player with two tickets must have both confirmed. Only the host can change payment status. The checkbox records your confirmation; it does not take a payment.
The game cannot start until every issued digital ticket is marked paid. Wait for everyone to join and check names, numbers and payment status before pressing Draw & play. Starting the game locks new entries. Existing players can still return to their own tickets. Unallocated digital places are excluded automatically; exclude leftover printed tickets using the next step.
On the phone, players select a Dabber colour and tap a song title to mark it; tap again to unmark. Colours are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and pink. Marking is manual. A player with two tickets sees both tickets together on the same screen; each ticket keeps its own marks. Phones show tickets only; music comes from the venue speakers. Phone music is unavailable: players in the venue can listen to your speakers.
The digital ticket page requests screen awake while the game is open and releases it when the game finishes. Ask players to keep the ticket tab visible. Manual locking, switching apps or phone power-saving settings can override this request. If the page says it cannot stay awake, tap the ticket to retry or adjust the phone’s Auto-Lock setting for the game. Marks remain saved if the screen locks. They can use Re-enter on this device after returning to the page. Copy my recovery link provides a private way back to their ticket; tell them not to share it. A fresh pack needs a fresh room code and new tickets.
Exclude unused printed tickets, if any
Skip this step when all tickets are digital. Unallocated digital places are excluded automatically. In Bingo cards → Tickets in play · exclude unused tickets, enter leftover ticket numbers under Unused ticket numbers, then press Exclude unused tickets. Use ranges such as 127-150, or a mixture such as 7, 42, 127-150.
Check that tickets in play matches your issued printed tickets plus allocated digital tickets. Unallocated digital places are excluded automatically. Do not enter reserved digital numbers as unused printed tickets. If all printed tickets were issued, leave the unused list empty. Complete this step before the first song, when the list locks. Only tickets in play can win.
Choose voice hosting or manual hosting
Return to Host a game. If a voice host is included and its recordings are ready, tick Let the … voice host this game. Leave Play the next song automatically ticked if you want the game to continue automatically. Untick it to draw each next song yourself.
The voice host explains the rules, announces the song title and artist at 30 seconds and again at the end of the clip, and speaks prize announcements after you verify and award them. Music lowers during speech. The normal voice-host flow leaves a five-second gap before moving on.
You can use Play introduction & rules to hear the host before the first song. If voice hosting is unavailable or switched off, explain the rules yourself and use the same game and claim controls.
Start playing: line first, then full house
Check the category, pack, tickets-in-play count, digital Paid checkboxes and any Snowball settings. At least one printed ticket must be issued or one digital player must have joined before the first draw. Press Draw & play. With voice hosting enabled, the introduction and rules play before the first song if they have not already been played for this pack.
Players mark a title only if it appears on their paper or digital ticket. Digital players choose a dabber colour and tap the title. They use BINGO! Claim a line or BINGO! Claim a full house to notify you, and should also call out in the room. You still check and award every prize. First play for five songs across one horizontal line—no diagonals or vertical lines. After the line is awarded, everyone keeps the same ticket and plays for all 15 titles.
Music clips play for up to 45 seconds; shorter recordings, including short TV themes, play to their end. Use Replay clip for a query. If a recording cannot play, use Skip unavailable → next; it is not counted as called.
Verify and award a bingo claim
A player must claim before the next song begins. Ask for their printed or digital ticket number and check its pack reference. For a digital claim, match the number to the player in your host list and check its Paid status before awarding. The digital claim notification has a Check claim button that fills in the ticket number for you. In Check their card, enter the number and press Check, or select a highlighted card in the winner notification.
Card progress and On the turntable show progress from called songs; they cannot see marks on a paper ticket. Confirm the player’s claim and payment before pressing Award line · play for full house or Award full house · finish game. Review all qualifying cards if more than one person claims.
A notification is not an awarded prize. The voice announces a win after your confirmation. A claim or prize award does not cut the music clip short. Once the full house is awarded, the game finishes; you may reveal Your next song would have been… as a title only.
Pause, take a break or return to the game
With the voice host running, use Pause game on the hosting desk to pause the game, then Resume game when ready. For music-only playback, use the player’s Pause control and Resume clip to continue the same clip.
Before leaving, check the Saved online message. If the screen locks, return to the host page and continue the saved clip/game. Use Recover saved game if you need an earlier saved pack, or Back up this game for a portable copy. Do not press New game to resume.
Prepare the next game
After finishing, choose the next category and printed quantity (0 for phone-only), generate its fresh pack, then repeat the relevant paper and digital setup steps. Old printed and digital tickets do not belong to the new pack. Share the new room code or QR code and admit digital players again.
